The forecast from this morning remains a good one, with just
a few tweaks, one being to increase the likelihood of snow a bit for next
Monday, with a bit less mixing. Now it
looks as if it will be more of a snow to rain switch over, possibly with
significant accumulations prior to the changeover. Then the cold air will likely take longer to
get here, possibly keeping us showery and warm through the day next Tuesday
prior to MUCH colder air making its way into our area for next Wednesday. Prior to all this though we will see much
warmer weather this week through Thursday, with the highs likely making it into
the 50’s on Thursday as warm air surges north into our area ahead of a cold
front. We will also have showers though
on Thursday and these showers will continue through the day on Friday and into
Saturday morning. The rain may however
change to snow before ending on Saturday morning and there is a slight chance
of some accumulation before it ends.
Then we have to watch the storm for next Monday that may very well bring
us some significant snow prior to it changing to rain and warming up for next
Tuesday with some showers and then the cold front coming through next Tuesday
night, ushering in MUCH colder weather for next Wednesday. Then I am still seeing the possibility of a
Nor'easter forming next Thursday and another storm for the following
weekend. We are entering an active
weather pattern! Check back for
updates.
