We will have some fog this morning, then things will clear
out and it will be nice through tomorrow.
It will also be warmer with highs reaching the upper 40’s in many areas
today, and around 50 tomorrow.
Thursday we will have a chance of showers but it will be warm with highs
in the low to mid 50’s. Friday we will
have showers as the cold front approaches and temperatures will start to drop
to the low to mid 40’s by afternoon. The
rain may change to snow before ending early on Saturday morning and there could
be some light accumulations. Then things
will clear out but it will remain cold on Saturday afternoon. Then on Sunday it will be cold and clouds
will increase in the afternoon, leading to light snow developing at night. The snow will then change to sleet and
freezing rain and may be heavy in the early morning hours on Monday prior to
changing to rain around sunrise. There
could be a significant accumulation of snow and ice prior to the changeover. We will then have showers on Monday and rain
developing late at night and continuing into early on Tuesday, prior to
changing back to snow showers before ending on Tuesday morning. Things will then clear out on Tuesday
afternoon, and then yet another storm may approach on Wednesday. This potential storm for next Wednesday is
the one I have been talking about for approximately a week already. If this storm develops it has the potential
to become a significant Nor'easter and cold air may be in place at that
time. It may also be a slow mover or
have several separate pieces of energy involved with it, which could lead to
chances for snow both next Wednesday and Thursday. There is no guarantee this storm will happen
at all though, so we will just have to wait and see what happens. Then we may get one nice day next Friday, although
it will be cold. Yet another Nor'easter
may develop for the following weekend leading to another chance for snow, but
again, there are no guarantees on this one either. We are entering a very active weather pattern
combined with a lot of cold air just to our north, so check back for
updates.
