We will see another cold day today, and then tomorrow we
will have some light snow that will begin between 10 am and 1 pm from west to
east. The snow could accumulate to a
half of an inch to an inch or two in some locations. The heaviest of the snow will occur between 1
pm and 4 pm. We will have just a chance
of a snow shower on Monday and it will be a bit warmer with highs in the mid 30’s. Temperatures will then drop below zero again
on Tuesday morning. For the middle to
end of the week we will have to keep an eye on the possibility for a Nor'easter
to develop along the East Coast. Right
now it looks as if two separate Nor’easters will develop, one on Tuesday night
into Wednesday morning that could bring some accumulating snow from North
Florida to as close as extreme Southeast New Jersey. At the moment it looks as if this storm may
remain just east of our area but we will need to keep a very close eye on
it. Then on Thursday night into Friday
another Nor'easter may form, bringing us a slight chance again for some snow. We will definitely need to keep a close eye
on both of these storms as they both have a chance to bring some areas a significant
snowstorm depending on the track they take.
Then on Saturday night into early Sunday morning we will likely get some
light snow. We should get a break then
late in the day for the Super Bowl next Sunday, then the following week things may
get a bit crazy as a cold front may stall out just to our south, causing light
snow to fall the following Monday and Tuesday, and then a strong storm may
affect our area for the middle of that week.
