Quick Update

The models are coming into agreement with my line of thinking.  I will stick with 10-20 inches throughout Northern New Jersey, Southeastern New York, and East Central and Northeast Pennsylvania, with locally higher amounts possible.  The chance of sleet mixing in continues to look less likely in Northern New Jersey, with the exception of areas near Newark and Jersey City where the snow may turn over to sleet for several hours tomorrow afternoon.  Elsewhere in Northern New Jersey this should be mainly a heavy wet snow with just a chance of some sleet pellets mixing in tomorrow afternoon.  The snow will start between 10 pm and midnight tonight and will end between 5 am and 7 am on Friday morning.
