The 2nd Part of This Storm is Starting to Explode Over the Delmarva

You can really see on radar how the 2nd part of this storm is starting to absolutely explode as the piece of energy from the polar vortex hits the relatively warm water of the ocean and the Gulf Stream.  This thing is exploding like a bomb going off.  Click here to view the radar.

The rotation is quite evident over the Delmarva area with very heavy precipitation over South Jersey, Southeastern Pennsylvania and Northeastern Maryland.  This area will continue moving northeast over us starting by 8-9 pm or so and ending by around 3 am.  Expect most places to get another 6-8 inches of snow tonight, and honestly, based upon what I am seeing on radar, I would not be shocked if some places got more than 10 inches tonight!  There may very well even be thunder snow.

Also, winds will gust up to 50 mph at times, causing blizzard conditions, regardless of whether the National Weather Service wants to actually call it this or not.
