The heavy rain will continue through the night tonight and into tomorrow morning, before becoming lighter and continuing through tomorrow. There may very well be some flooding by tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow night the rain may very well mix with or change to sleet and snow in some places, especially in the higher elevations. There is even a chance that the sleet and snow could accumulate to a dusting to an inch or two in some places, especially in the higher elevations of Northwest New Jersey, ending on Monday morning.
Things will then clear out on Monday afternoon and be nice on Tuesday and Wednesday with a high in the mid to upper 50's on Tuesday and the upper 50's to low 60's on Wednesday.
On Thursday there will be a chance of shower and a high in the mid 50's.
On Friday and Friday night there will be a chance of showers as a weak storm system approaches.
It will then be nice but cooler for next weekend.
Then for early the following a weak a storm system is likely to approach and some cold air will be available to the north of this storm, so we will have a chance for rain or snow next Tuesday.
