Small Westward Shift Overnight

There was a small westward shift with this storm overnight.  We need to keep a very close eye on this situation.  This is not a drill.  I repeat this is not a drill.  Seriously though, this storm will likely be one of the most intense storms in history in terms of central barometric pressure.  What does this mean?  This means the possibility of extremely strong winds and heavy snow wherever it hits.  Luckily as far as the winds go, we will most likely be on the weaker side of the storm no matter what, with it being off shore, so even if we get hit with heavy snow, the highest winds should remain over the ocean or over Long Island and Eastern New England.  We must continue to watch this situation VERY closely.  This one is no joke.  More in a bit with my morning forecast and discussion.
