Wednesday we will have rain, heavy at times, and possibly very heavy on Wednesday night that could very well cause some flooding. It will also be cool, with temperatures during the day only in the 40's, rising above 50 only late at night.
It looks as if we will get 2-3 inches of rain, with up to 4 inches possible in Central New Jersey. We might be able to handle 2 inches of rain with little flooding as it has been quite dry recently, but if we get up to 3 inches we could get some flooding and any areas that receive up to 4 inches will definitely have some flooding.
The rain will come to an end on Thursday morning and it will warm to the low 70's , albeit possibly with some flooding to deal with in the morning.
I will caution people who live in flood prone areas to keep a close eye on this situation.
Things should then clear out for Friday, with only a chance of a shower on Saturday, then a nice day on Sunday, followed by a chance for some showers on Sunday night. Highs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday should be in the mid 60's.
Monday should be nice with a high in the low 60's.
More showers may then move in for next Tuesday night and Wednesday with a high in the low to mid 60's on Tuesday and in the upper 50's on Wednesday.
The chance for showers may continue into next Thursday and Friday with highs in the upper 60's on Thursday, possible rising to the low 80's by next Friday.
Things may then clear out and cool off for the following weekend with highs around 70 next Saturday, cooling to the upper 50's next Sunday.
