The latest run of the European model is suggesting that many areas of Northern New Jersey could receive another 2 inches or so of rain tonight. If this occurs, flooding in some locations may be severe.
If you live in a flood prone area you need to keep a very close eye on this situation as flash flooding can occur very rapidly with little prior indication.
The heaviest of the rain should occur between around now and midnight, but the steady rian now looks to continue until possibly as late as 10 am or so tomorrow morning, so flooding may very well be a significant concern for the morning rush tomorrow.
