Saturday, May 10th, 2014 - Evening Weather Discussion

We will have a continued chance for showers and thunderstorms tonight, followed by an absolutely beautiful Mother's Day tomorrow and a high in the mid to upper 70's.

Monday should then be nice with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm late in the day and a high in the low to mid 80's.

Tuesday a backdoor cold front will move through our area (click here for a definition), bringing with it showers and thunderstorms and temperatures dropping through the day from the upper 60's early in the morning to the upper 50's to low 60's by afternoon and the low to mid 50's by nightfall.

Wednesday and Thursday there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm both days and highs only in the upper 50's on Wednesday, rising to the upper 70's on Thursday.

Friday we will have a chance of rain, possibly heavy at times as a low pressure area forms near the East Coast and a high in the low 60's.

Next Saturday should be mostly sunny with a high in the mid to upper 60's.

Next Sunday we will have a chance of showers and high only in the mid to upper 50's.

Next Monday through Wednesday we will have a chance of a shower and highs in the upper 50's to low 60's.

Next Thursday and Friday should be mostly sunny with high in the low to mid 60's.
