Wednesday, May 28th, 2014 - Evening Weather Discussion

Tomorrow should be a bit nicer than today, but the wind will continue to blow from the east, off the much cooler ocean, keeping us cool with a high in the low to mid 60's.

Friday there will again be a chance of a shower and it will remain cool with a high in the mid 60's as the easterly wind continues.

Saturday should then be variably cloudy and a bit warmer as the wind starts to shift back to the west.  The high on Saturday should be in the low to mid 70's.

Sunday should then be quite nice, but still a bit cool, with a high in the upper 60's to low 70's.

Monday should be quite nice and much warmer with a high near 80 as warm air surges north ahead of an approaching cold front.  Clouds will start to increase on Monday afternoon.

We will then have a chance for showers and thunderstorms from Monday night through Wednesday as a cold front approaches, then passes through our area. It should remain warm on both Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs in the 70's.

Next Thursday through Saturday we will have a chance of a shower or thunderstorm with highs in the 70's.

Next Sunday and Monday should then be nice with a high in the low to mid 80's.

There is a chance of a tropical system forming in the Gulf of Mexico next weekend and making landfall on the North Gulf Coast.  If this were to occur it would bring us a chance of some showers and thunderstorms next Tuesday, with a high in the mid 70's.
