So, what is going on?
Crazy stuff. Sorry for the delay
but I had to take a good long look at things here this morning. We are in a very anomalous weather pattern. Climate change? Probably.
There is a Super Typhoon by the name of Nuri in the Bering Sea right
now. This storm is stronger than
Superstorm Sandy was a couple of years ago.
Luckily it is only affecting the shipping channels with its fury at the
moment but it is disrupting the global weather patterns. This is why things may get very crazy around
here by the middle of next week and is why I have been talking about cold like I
have never seen before in the middle of November for about a week now. For more information from CBS News and a
video about what I am talking about and have been talking about before anyone
else, click here.
It is difficult to tell exactly what the heck is going to
happen next week. I spent several hours
already this morning trying to figure it out.
I will give it my best but this is an EXTREMELY VOLATILE weather pattern
and just about anything is possible from the middle of next week on. Everything I type here in my forecast from
the middle of next week through the middle of the following week is subject to
drastic changes. My storm may happen as
early as this Thursday or as late as next Wednesday or of course maybe it won’t
happen at all. Anyway, here we go…
There will be a chance of a shower today and a chance of a rain or snow shower late this afternoon and this evening. The high today will only be in the mid 40’s.
Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with a low around 30 and a
high in the mid 40’s.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a
shower in the morning and a high around 50.
Monday and Tuesday temperatures should continue to warm as
warm air surges into our area ahead of an approaching cold front. Highs will be in the mid 50’s on Monday and
around 60 on Tuesday.
Wednesday the Arctic cold front will push through, bringing
the chance of a shower in the morning and early afternoon. The high will be in the mid to upper 40’s on
Wednesday.
Thursday my storm may start to develop, maybe, with increasing
cloudiness and a chance of snow developing in the afternoon or at night with lows in the mid to upper 20’s and highs in the mid to upper 30’s.
Friday my Nor'easter may or may not happen on this day with
a chance of snow. Lows will be in the
mid to upper 20’s and highs will be in the low to mid 30’s.
Next Saturday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid
to upper 30’s.
Sunday my storm may still happen on this day with a chance
of rain or snow and highs in the mid to upper 30’s.
Next Monday morning my storm may be exiting our area if it
happens on this day. Highs on Monday
will be in the low 40’s.
Next Tuesday clouds will likely increase again with a chance
of rain or snow at night as my storm could happen on this day instead. Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid to upper
30’s.
Next Wednesday we will have a chance of rain or snow ending
in the morning, followed by clearing and highs in the mid 30’s.
Next Thursday the Polar Vortex may be right over us with
lows in the mid to upper teens and highs around 30.
Join me this evening for the latest in this very crazy
upcoming weather pattern. Let’s see what
happens…
