Wow, what can I say? A
mid-winter type pattern is about to take hold of us in the middle of November
and it will last a while…
We will start out warm with temperatures approaching 60
today and the low to mid 60’s tomorrow and Wednesday as warm air surges north
into our area ahead of an approaching cold front. There will be a slight chance of a shower
early on Wednesday.
Thursday clouds will increase in the afternoon with a high
in the mid 40’s.
Thursday night there is a chance of some light snow or
flurries starting between around 11 pm and midnight.
Friday morning there is a chance of some light snow with a
dusting of accumulation possible. It
will then clear out with a high in the upper 30’s.
Saturday should be nice but very cold with lows in the mid
to upper 20’s and highs in the mid to upper 30’s.
There are many possibilities for a storm to develop over the
Southeastern United States on Sunday afternoon.
Depending on the track that this storm takes we will either get rain or
snow on Sunday night and Monday. Right
now this could easily go in either direction, although I do believe it will at
least start as snow in most locations and it MAY remain snow in many
locations, but this is dependent on the track that the storm takes.
Sunday clouds will increase in the morning and there will be
a chance of snow developing in the afternoon.
The low will be in the mid to upper 20’s on Sunday morning and the high
will be in the mid to upper 30’s.
Next Monday we will have either rain or snow depending on
the track that the storm takes as it moves northeastward out of the
Southeastern United States. The highs on
Monday will be in the mid 30’s.
Next Tuesday there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the
morning, followed by clearing. The high
on Tuesday will be in the mid 30’s but temperatures will drop rapidly at night
as the Polar Vortex approaches.
Next Wednesday we will be under the influence of the Polar Vortex
with lows dropping to the low to mid teens and highs only in the low to mid 30’s.
Next Thursday clouds will increase in the morning as another
storm approaches, bringing us a chance of rain or snow next Thursday night
through Saturday. The lows next Thursday
morning will be in the upper teens to low 20’s and the highs will be in the low
to mid 30’s. The highs next Friday and
Saturday will be mainly in the mid 30’s.
It will then get very cold again behind this storm with lows
dropping to the mid to upper teens and highs in the upper 20’s.
