Quick Update

A bit of good news this morning as the freezing rain potential seems to have disappeared.

It looks as if the first storm should end on Sunday morning as rain, then we get a break until Monday afternoon.

Cold air moves in after the first storm leaves.

Then a Nor'easter develops off the Middle Atlantic Coast, bringing us a chance of snow from Monday afternoon through Wednesday morning.

Amounts will be dependent upon how close this Nor'easter comes to the coast.

A track close to the coast would open the door to a potentially very significant snowfall for areas from Virginia north through Maine.

A track further off shore would reduce the snowfall amounts dramatically.

If the Nor'easter develops far enough off shore we would be left with sunny skies.

Only time will tell.

Join me later for my morning discussion and look at the next two weeks by 6:30 am.
