We are getting a well-deserved break through Friday, then,
well, here we go. Yes, it is going to be
one heck of a winter around here…
We will have decent weather through Friday with just some
showers on Tuesday afternoon and evening and a chance of a snow shower on
Wednesday.
Then next Saturday clouds will increase as one storm moves
along the Gulf Coast and another storm drops down from Canada into the Central
Plains States and then into the Tennessee River Valley. These two storms will eventually start to
merge late on Saturday in the Southeastern United States. The storm will then strengthen as it moves northeast
to a point about 50-100 miles off the coast of New Jersey on Sunday afternoon
or evening.
If the track I outlined above verifies we will be getting a
significant snowstorm next Sunday. I do
think this one is likely to be snow, as long as my track works out, as we won’t
be likely to see any strange storms coming our way from Bermuda again anytime
soon. There is still a chance the storm
will slide out to sea south of us too, and if that happened we would get little
or no snow at all.
We should then get a nice day next Monday then another storm
will approach for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as once again a storm will
drop down from Canada and another storm will be moving along the Gulf
Coast. These two storms will likely also
merge in the Southeastern United States and start heading up the East
Coast. This will bring us a chance for
snow on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Yet another storm is likely to threaten us the weekend after
Christmas with more snow, and the middle of the week after Christmas as well.
Yes, this winter looks like it is going to be just unreal…
Have a wonderful evening!
