We will get a much needed break for the next week, and then
the active weather pattern continues with the chance for three Nor’easters for
the holiday week…
We will have variably cloudy skies this weekend then mostly
sunny skies on Monday with gradually warming temperatures. The highs will be in the mid to upper 30’s
today, the upper 30’s to low 40’s tomorrow and the low 40’s on Monday.
Tuesday we will have increasing cloudiness with showers
developing in the late morning and continuing into the evening. Highs on Tuesday will be in the low 40’s.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of rain or
snow showers and highs in the upper 30’s to low 40’s.
Thursday and Friday should be nice with highs in the mid to
upper 30’s.
Saturday a strong storm system is likely to move along the
Gulf Coast, then into the Tennessee River Valley. It will then re-develop near Cape Hatteras,
North Carolina early on Sunday morning, then move northward to a point about 50
miles off the New Jersey Coast on Sunday afternoon.
If this track outlined above verifies there would be a good
chance of a significant snowstorm in our area next weekend, mainly for Saturday
night and into Sunday night. Again,
though the rain/snow line seems to always be close by Northern New Jersey and
the same will likely hold true this time.
We will just have to wait and see where everything sets up.
After this storm passes we should have a nice day next
Monday followed by increasing cloudiness next Tuesday as another storm
approaches.
Next Tuesday another storm system will move eastward along
the Gulf Coast, then turn northward up the East Coast on Christmas Eve and
Christmas Day. This will bring us a
chance for a snowstorm for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Of course, as always, the rain/snow line will
not be far away, so we will have to wait and see where that sets up.
We should then have a nice day next Friday before yet
another storm approaches for the following weekend.
Have a great day!
