Still Freezing Rain in Northwestern NJ

More than four tenths of an inch of freezing rain now in Northwestern NJ. Reports of numerous accidents on the roads.  The National Weather Service issues ice storm warnings in Northern NJ when more than a half of an inch of ice has accumulated.  We are nearing that point.  It should change over soon, but I currently have .42 inches of freezing rain at my weather station.

I now know why the models thought this might be snow.  If you have access to radar that displays rain/snow/mix on the radar, it is currently showing snow over Northwestern NJ even though it is freezing rain.  Typically this would show up as a mix on the radar.  Very interesting situation, even the radar thinks it is snowing now.
