The big question in my mind is whether or not we break 60
degrees on Christmas Eve? We just
might. Then, for those of you who want
to see some snow, hang in there, you might get your chance next week…
First though, we will have cloudy skies again tomorrow with
light rain or possibly light snow staring in some locations in the afternoon or
evening, then quickly changing to light rain.
Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 30’s.
Tuesday we will have light rain and showers with highs in the
mid 40’s.
Christmas Eve a strong storm will be developing along the
East Coast but it will take an inland path to the Great Lakes. This will bring us rain, heavy at times, and
it will be windy with temperatures rising through the day and into the night,
as warm air surges northward into our area ahead of the storm. The highs will rise to around 60 degrees late
at night.
Expect heavy travel delays up and down the East
Coast on Christmas Eve with the heavy rain and strong winds. And for those of you heading south to
Florida for the holiday; remember that my dad owns a real estate company
in Florida. Click here to

Christmas Day we will have rain, heavy at times, ending in
the pre-dawn hours, followed by clearing and highs in the mid 40’s.
Friday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 40’s.
Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower
and highs in the mid 40’s.
Next Sunday we will have a chance of snow as a low pressure
area might form in the Gulf of Mexico and head northward up the East
Coast. I am not at all certain of this
one yet though, so it is just a CHANCE of snow at this point. Let’s see what happens. The high will be in the low to mid 30’s.
Next Monday should be mostly sunny with highs in the upper
20’s.
Next Tuesday a low pressure area may develop over the
Southeastern United States and merge with another low pressure area dropping
down from Canada. This would bring us increasing
cloudiness next Tuesday afternoon and a chance of snow developing at night with a
high in the mid 30’s.
New Year’s Eve we will have a chance of snow as the storm
may develop into a Nor'easter along the East Coast with highs in the low to mid
30’s.
New Year’s Day should be mostly sunny with highs in the
upper 20’s.
Next Friday and Saturday should be mostly sunny with highs
in the low 30’s.
