Two weak areas of low pressure that would be snow threats tomorrow and Tuesday will both miss us to the south and east, leaving us with nice days tomorrow through Saturday morning now.
Then, the models changed the evolution of the storm next weekend quite a bit during the day today.
Now the models want to keep this storm to our south, instead of cutting it up through the Great Lakes next weekend. This would keep us on the cold side of the storm but again the models keep the first part of the storm to our south on Saturday missing us, but the second part of the storm would hit us on Sunday, most likely rain during the day, but changing to snow at night as the storm starts to intensify and pull the cold down into our area.
We will have to watch this closely because if this were to continue we would have a chance at a significant snowstorm next Sunday night into Monday morning, but I will remain VERY cautious about this because how many times have we already seen these snow chances disappear? It seems that every time there is a chance of snow they find a way not to happen this winter so far, so lets see what happens.
After this storm passes it will get quite cold next week with a chance of snow showers next Monday night and Wednesday.
Then the next storm to watch will likely occur the following Sunday.
