Tuesday, December 23, 2014 - Evening Weather Discussion

Who could image that we would have had a white Thanksgiving and now it may very well hit 60 degrees for Christmas Eve?

We will have rain, heavy at times, and it will be windy tomorrow for Christmas Eve with temperatures rising through the day and reaching near 60 degrees by late tomorrow night.

Expect the possibility of heavy travel delays up and down the East Coast on Christmas Eve with the heavy rain and wind.  And for those of you heading south to Florida for the holiday; remember that my dad owns a real estate company in Florida. Click here to view his company website.

Christmas Day we will have rain, heavy at times in the pre-dawn hours, ending shortly after sunrise, then clearing with temperatures dropping from around 60 in the pre-dawn hours to the mid to upper 40's shortly after sunrise.

Friday and Saturday should then be nice with highs in the mid 40's on Friday and around 50 on Saturday.

Sunday we will have a chance of showers with highs in the low 40's.

Monday we will have a chance of rain, sleet, freezing rain, or snow depending upon exactly where the cold front sets up.  Highs will be in the 30's.

Tuesday through New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, and into Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of snow and highs will be in the mid to upper 20's.

Next weekend should be nice with highs in the upper 20's to low 30's.

Next Monday we will have a chance of rain or snow and highs in the mid to upper 30's.

Have a wonderful evening!
