First we have an ice storm in Northwestern New Jersey instead of a snow storm, now the storm that was supposed to be pummeling us with heavy rain in Northern New Jersey just missed us wide right and is pummeling Long Island, New York City, and extreme Northeastern New Jersey. The storm just turned right by about 75 miles of where it was supposed to be at the last minute.
What will happen next? It should change to snow tonight in Northwestern New Jersey and it might accumulate, but it will be mostly dependent upon temperatures and how heavy the precipitation comes down.
This storm has been extremely difficult to forecast.
Let's see what happens.
