Monday, January 12, 2015 - Morning Weather Discussion

Ugly today, then cold tomorrow, followed by fairly nice weather through Sunday morning. Then Sunday night into Monday morning and next Tuesday into next Wednesday could be unsettled…

This morning the light freezing rain will change to rain in Northeastern NJ by 7 am and in Northwestern NJ by 9 am.  We will then have rain this afternoon and evening, possibly changing back to light snow after 8 pm before ending, with a dusting of accumulation possible.  The high today will be in the mid 30’s.

Tomorrow will then be quite cold with lows in the mid to upper teens and highs only in the low to mid 20’s.

Wednesday we will have variably cloudy skies and it will start out very cold with lows in the upper single digits to low teens and highs around 30.

Thursday through Saturday we will have variably cloudy skies with temperatures warming from the mid 30’s on Thursday to around 40 on Saturday.

Sunday we will have increasing cloudiness with a chance of rain or snow at night and highs around 40.

Next Monday we will have a chance of rain or snow in the morning, followed by variably cloudy skies during the day and highs around 40.

Next Tuesday a storm system will approach from the west, bringing with it a chance of rain/freezing rain/sleet/snow with a high in the low 40’s.

Next Wednesday we will have a chance of rain or snow with highs around 40.

Next Thursday and Friday should be nice with highs in the mid to upper 30’s.

Next Saturday we will have a chance of rain or snow at night with highs in the mid to upper 30’s.

Next Sunday we will have a chance of rain or snow with highs in the mid to upper 30’s.
