Wednesday, January 14, 2015 - Evening Weather Discussion

It is the middle of January.  It is COLD.  Where is the snow???  Let's try again next week.

The cold weather will continue through Saturday with highs in the low 30's tomorrow and Friday and the upper 20's on Saturday.

Sunday will then be warmer, just in time for a storm to form along the Middle Atlantic Coast as warm air surges northward into our area.  The highs will be in the low 40's with a chance of rain during the day Sunday.  There is a chance of the rain changing to snow before ending on Sunday night.

Monday we will then have a chance of snow showers with a high in the low to mid 30's.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and colder with highs in the upper 20's.

Next Wednesday we will have a chance of snow as a weak storm system approaches from the west with highs in the mid 30's.

Next Thursday we will have mostly sunny skies with highs in the low 30's.

Next Friday we will have a chance of snow as a storm may form along the Gulf Coast and then turn northward up the coast.  The highs will be in the low 30's.

Next Saturday through Monday should be nice with highs in the upper 20's.

Next Tuesday we will have a chance of snow as another storm may form along the Gulf Coast and then move northward along the East Coast.  Highs next Tuesday should be in the mid 20's.
