The low dropped to 6 degrees this morning at my weather station.
It is the middle of January, where is the snow? Maybe next week, we shall see…
It will be nice but cold through Saturday with highs near 30
today, the low to mid 30’s tomorrow and Friday and around 30 again on Saturday.
Sunday a storm will form along the Middle Atlantic Coast as
a cold front approaches our area. Warm
air will surge northward into our area ahead of the storm on Sunday morning and
afternoon, allowing for rain with highs in the low to mid 40’s. As the storm starts to pass it will allow the
cold front to move through, bringing with it colder air and a chance that the
rain could mix with or change to snow on Sunday night and continue into Monday
morning as some snow showers. We shall
see.
There will be a chance of snow showers on Monday morning as
the coastal storm pulls away to the north and then things will clear out with a
high in the mid 30’s.
Tuesday should then be mostly sunny and colder with highs in
the upper 20’s.
Next Wednesday a storm system may approach from the west,
bringing a chance of snow and highs in the mid 30’s.
Next Thursday should then be nice with a high again in the
mid 30’s.
Next Friday another storm may approach from the west, again
bringing a chance of some snow and highs in the low to mid 30’s.
Next Saturday should be nice with highs around 30.
Next Sunday there will again be a chance of some snow as a
storm will approach from the west. The
highs next Sunday should be in the low to mid 30’s.
Next Monday should be variably cloudy with a chance of snow
showers and a high in the low to mid 30’s.
Next Tuesday should be mostly sunny with highs around 30.
