Tomorrow a warm front will approach our area, bringing with it a chance of a bit of light snow in the late morning or early afternoon that could accumulate to a dusting or so. The highs tomorrow should be in the low 30's.
There will then be another chance of a bit of light snow on Saturday night that could accumulate to a dusting.
Sunday a storm system will approach from the west, but it will be warmer behind the warm front with a high in the mid 30's.
The approaching storm system will cause snow to develop between 3 pm and 5 pm on Sunday afternoon accumulating to a dusting to an inch or two before changing to freezing rain around 11 pm. The freezing rain will then continue until the late morning on Monday when it will change back to snow before ending on Monday night.
Total snowfall accumulations should range from 3-6 inches throughout Northern New Jersey, Northeastern Pennsylvania, and Southern New York State, and 1-3 inches in Central New Jersey and New York City, with up to a quarter of an inch of ice possible in some locations.
It will then be nice Tuesday and Wednesday and then we will have a chance of a snow shower on Thursday.
Friday will then be nice before a chance of some light snow next Saturday.
Next Sunday and Monday should be nice before the next chance of snow arrives next Tuesday.
Please join me in the morning for the latest information on our impending storm...
