We have perfect conditions tonight for temperatures to drop like a rock and they are doing so right now.
I expect temperatures to drop to the upper to middle single digits below zero tonight with temperatures as low as 15 degrees below zero possible in the coldest valleys.
Luckily this week, two storm systems will likely pass just to our south and east on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning and again on Wednesday night into Thursday morning, but the third piece of energy may bring us a bit of snow on Thursday night into Friday morning, possibly a dusting or so.
Then a frontal system will establish itself nearby for Sunday night through next Wednesday. Low pressure areas will likely ride along this front, bringing a chance of rain or snow next Sunday night and Monday and a chance of snow next Tuesday and Wednesday.
It should then be nice next Thursday but another storm may approach next Friday and Saturday.
