We may get a dusting to an inch tonight, but that is probably about it. Ice was the story with this storm.
However, as I stated previously, we really need to watch the two clippers on Thursday and Saturday.
Right now the models only seem to give us anywhere from 1-3 inches with the storm on Thursday as it just misses us while exploding off shore.
I am starting to think that the one to watch is Saturday.
The latest European model that just came out absolutely explodes the storm just off the New Jersey Coast, then stalls it out, bringing Northeastern NJ, Southeastern NY, New York City and Long Island a 6-12 inch snowfall from Saturday afternoon through early Sunday morning, with 4-8 inches for Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, and Central NJ.
I am NOT saying this will happen at all, it is just one possibility. Let's see what the ensemble mean and other models come up with later today.
Just something to watch for now...
