The cold air is likely to win the battle tomorrow, pushing the storm further to the south.
This should mean 1-2 inches of accumulation in Northern New Jersey and New York City, with only an inch or so as you head up into Northeastern PA and Southeastern NY, with 2-4 inches now across Central New Jersey, and 3-6 inches across Southern New Jersey.
The heaviest snows now look as if they will occur in Tennessee, Kentucky, Northern North Carolina, Central and Southern Virginia, and Southern Maryland where 6-12 inches is likely.
We will then likely get a dusting to an inch Wednesday afternoon and night as the Alberta Clipper passes by.
