Keep in mind many areas may get another inch or two to add to these totals this afternoon, but so far it looks as if I did a pretty good job.
Most totals in Northwestern NJ and far Northern NJ, such as Bergen County are in the 6-8 inch range. I had forecast 5-10 inches in most of these areas, with 8-12 in far Northern NJ where West Milford is coming in with 8 inches so far.
The National Weather service had reduced amounts to 2-6 inches in Morris County where many reports of over 7 inches are coming in already with more likely this afternoon. I had updated my forecast to 5-10 inches in this area while the National Weather Service reduced their forecast to 2-6 inches.
