Things remain on track for a very significant snow and ice storm to affect the New York City Metropolitan area, starting during the Super Bowl between 6 pm and 9 pm and continuing into Monday evening, ending between 6 pm and 9 pm.
The snow will likely mix with or change to sleet and freezing rain on Monday morning which will reduce accumulations a bit in southern sections but make roads even more slippery with the ice.
Latest estimates for snow and ice accumulations:
Pike County PA, Northwestern Monroe County, PA, Orange County, NY, Northern Sussex County, NJ, Northern Passaic County, NJ, 8-12 inches
Southeastern Monroe County, PA, Northern Warren, Southern Sussex, Northwestern Morris, Northwestern Bergen, Rockland County, NY, 5-10 inches
Southern Warren, Northern Hunterdon, Northern Somerset, Southeastern Morris, Southern Passaic, Southeastern Bergen, Northwestern Essex, 3-8 inches
Southern Hunterdon, Southern Somerset, Union, Southeastern Essex, Hudson, New York City, 2-4 inches
Mercer, Middlesex, dusting to 2 inches
That is my best guess at the moment.
More a bit later with the morning forecast and look at the next 2 weeks.
Hint, there may be chances for a lot more snow in the next 2 weeks.
