The heaviest of the snow went through Central and Southern
NJ last night, where 4 inches to as much as 6.5 inches fell, leaving Northern New Jersey with
anywhere from 2.5 inches to 5.5 inches.

Moving forward, temperatures will warm to around 40 today
and then the bottom will drop out by Tuesday morning when low temperatures may
reach historical levels. I am expecting widespread readings throughout our area
in the upper to middle single digits below zero on Tuesday morning and some
readings as low as -15 are possible.
There will then be a chance of a snow shower on Tuesday
night and Wednesday as a weak low pressure area passes by to our north.
Wednesday night and Thursday a storm system will develop
along the Gulf Coast but it should scoot harmlessly out to sea to our south and
east. I will keep an eye on this one though just in case.
Next Weekend through early the following week there will be
a chance of several low pressure areas riding along a front through our area.
Depending on where exactly this front sets up we will have a chance of snow on
Saturday and either rain or snow Sunday through Wednesday, although it likely
won’t precipitate the entire time.
It should then be nice next Thursday and Friday before another
storm approaches next Saturday.
