Sunday, July 17, 2016 - Evening Weather Discussion

Heat on the way...

Well, get ready because the heat is on the way with highs reaching the low to mid 90's in most inland locations tomorrow.  There will also be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the late afternoon or evening as cold front comes through.

Tuesday will then be cooler with highs in the 80's and a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm.

Wednesday should be quite nice with highs in the 80's.

Thursday should be very nice, but it will start to warm up with highs around 90 in most inland locations.

Friday will warm up a bit more and there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm with highs in the low to mid 90's.

Saturday there will be a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm and it will be hot with highs in the mid to upper 90's, with some low 100's likely inland.

Next Sunday there will be a good chance of showers and thunderstorms and it will be hot with highs again in the mid to upper 90's with some low 100's possible inland.

Next Monday and Tuesday there will be a good chance of showers and thunderstorms with highs in the low to mid 90's.

Next Wednesday looks nice, followed by a chance of a shower or thunderstorm next Thursday through Saturday. Highs should start out around 90 next Wednesday and rise to the low to mid 90's next Thursday and Friday before dropping back to the upper 80's next Saturday.

Have a wonderful evening and get ready for the heat...

Don’t forget to install the new Edge Weather app if you did not already do so.

Search “edgeweather” in the Apple App Store or in the Google Play Store.

The fastest way to access the Edge Weather forecasts through the app is to click on the Edge Weather logo on the top third of the screen, or under the buttons for the Edge Weather Forecasts under the “About Edge Weather” and “Social Media” sections of the app.

Some improvements in the new app:

Useful links now available on the side bar that can be accessed by pressing the blue button on the top right of the screen. The useful links has access to key terms, local weather links, radar links, satellite links, and prior forecasts when I forecast storms from two weeks in advance.

Under "About Edge Weather" you will find links to some newspaper articles that I appeared in previously, as well as ways to submit photos or contact me.

Under "Social Media" you will find links to easily access Edge Weather on Twitter and on Facebook, as well as a new feature, “Edge Weather Forum”, where you can share any thoughts and ideas, and now Edge Weather YouTube videos!

Also added was an option to share the app with your friends in the "About Edge Weather" and "Social Media" sections of the app, as well as on the side bar, so please go ahead and share the app with your friends.

Enjoy and submit your recommendations under the appropriate link.  I am always looking for good ideas.
