Potential of two heat waves, one possibly severe…
There will be the potential for two heat waves over the next week. One now through Wednesday, and then the potential for an intense heat wave Labor Day through next Friday as highs could reach the upper 90’s in some places.
The only real chances for rain will be Thursday and again next Tuesday, with slight chances Monday, Wednesday, and next Wednesday.
As for the potential tropical development near Florida, it continues to look as if conditions will be unfavorable for development, however, if by any chance this storm makes its way into the Central Gulf of Mexico by the middle of next week, conditions would become favorable for development. Right now, though, it looks as if this storm will make its way into the Florida Peninsula early next week, prior to developing. Let’s hope this holds true.
Have a fantastic day and stay cool!
