Saturday, September 17, 2016 - Evening Weather Discussion

Showers/thunderstorms on the way...

Showers and thunderstorms will develop throughout our area tomorrow, starting in Northeastern and East Central PA in the morning, then pushing south and east throughout the rest of our area Sunday afternoon and night. The showers and thunderstorms could be heavy at times tomorrow night. Highs will range from the upper 70's in Northeastern PA to the mid to upper 80's in Central NJ.

Monday there will be showers and thunderstorms, heavy at times in the morning, followed by clearing late in the day. Highs will be in the low to mid 70's.

Tuesday through next Saturday will then be quite nice with highs ranging from the upper 70's to the mid 80's.

Next Sunday through Wednesday then look unsettled, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms each day, as warm and moist air moves northward into our area ahead of a slow-moving cold front approaching from the west. It will start our warm next Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 80's, dropping to the 60's and 70's next Monday through Wednesday.

Next Thursday and Friday then look nice behind the cold front with highs in the upper 60's to mid 70's.

Have a wonderful evening!
