Saturday, September 17, 2016 - Morning Weather Discussion

Another nice day, and then…

We will have another nice day today with highs mostly in the upper 70’s to the mid 80’s.

Tomorrow there will be a good chance of showers and thunderstorms as a strong cold front and disturbance pass through our area. The showers and thunderstorms will start developing in the morning or early afternoon in Northeastern PA and Orange County, NY, and in the afternoon or early evening in the rest of the Allentown and New York City Metropolitan areas, and Central NJ. The showers and thunderstorms may become heavy at times at night. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s in most locations.

Monday we will have showers or thunderstorms, possibly heavy at times in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s.

Tuesday through next Sunday will then be nice with highs mainly in the low to mid 80’s Tuesday through Friday, rising to the mid 80’s to low 90’s next Saturday, then dropping back to the low to mid 80’s in most places next Sunday.

Next Monday we will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to low 80’s.

Next Tuesday through Friday then look nice and cooler with highs in the 60’s to low 70’s.

Have a fantastic day!
