Freezing rain possible tomorrow morning in parts of our area…
I hear that Santa is loading up his sleigh...
There will be a chance of some freezing rain in parts of East Central and Northeastern PA, Central and Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State and in Fairfield County, CT tomorrow morning. It is all about ground temperatures, and they will be very close to freezing. I do however believe that many places will remain right around 33 or 34 degrees, sparing many of the people in these areas, but I know that many people are planning travelling. So, if you do plan on driving early tomorrow, please be very careful as some areas may have freezing rain tomorrow morning. The rain or freezing rain will end by around mid-day in most places and then things will start to clear out. Highs will be in the low to mid 40’s.
Christmas Day then looks nice with highs in the mid 40’s in most places.
Monday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower and highs will be in the 40’s, with some low 50’s possible in Central NJ and on Long Island.
Tuesday we will have a chance of a shower in the morning as a cold front moves through our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 50’s in most places.
Wednesday will then be nice with highs in the 30’s.
Thursday a storm system will approach from the west which may cause a Nor’easter to form along the NJ Coast. This will bring us a chance of rain or snow Thursday with highs in the 30’s or 40’s, depending on how exactly this storm develops.
Next Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a Lake Effect snow shower. Highs will be in the low to mid 30’s.
New Year’s Eve will then be nice with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
New Year’s Day we will have a chance of snow showers with highs in the 30’s.
Next Monday and Tuesday will then be mostly sunny with highs in the 30’s.
Next Wednesday and Thursday we will have a chance of rain or snow with highs in the 30’s to low 40’s.
