The changeover to sleet and freezing rain is taking place just a bit quicker than forecast, which has been the seasonal trend. This will mean that most areas will have total snowfall accumulations of 1-3 inches with some places possibly getting a bit more than that, mainly in the northern sections.
Next up is the ice, with up to a quarter of an inch of ice accumulation possible in parts of our area.
