There will be a chance of the first widespread, significant, snowstorm in our area Sunday night into Monday. First though…
Today will be nice with highs ranging from the mid to upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 40’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island.
Tomorrow and Saturday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a snow shower as a bit of moisture could make its way into our area off the Great Lakes. Highs will be in the 30’s tomorrow and the low to mid 30’s Saturday.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of some snow showers as a weak disturbance approaches our area from the west. Highs will be in the 30’s.
Monday, a storm system will approach from the west, bringing a chance of snow to East Central and Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, NYC, and in Fairfield County, CT, and rain and snow in Central NJ and on Long Island. Significant accumulations are possible (possibly even in Central NJ and on Long Island). Lows will be in the mid to upper 20’s in Northeastern PA, the upper 20’s to low 30’s in East Central PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, and the low to mid 30’s in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to low 30’s in Northeastern PA, the low to mid 30’s in East Central PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, the mid 30’s in NYC, and on Western and Central Long Island, the mid to upper 30’s in Central NJ and on Eastern Long Island, and the low 40’s along the NJ Coast.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of some snow showers as a disturbance may approach from the west. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
Next Thursday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a snow shower. Highs will be in the 20’s to low 30’s.
Next Friday we will have increasing cloudiness with a chance of snow developing at night as a storm system approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper teens to mid 20’s inland and in the low to mid 30’s along the coast and on Long Island.
Next Saturday into Sunday morning we will have a chance of snow as a Nor’easter may form along the coast. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to low 30’s inland and in the low to mid 30’s along the coast next Saturday and in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Sunday.
Next Monday through Wednesday then look nice with highs in the mid 20’s to low 30’s next Monday and the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Tuesday and Wednesday.
