TOMORROW – snow developing in East Central and Northeastern PA between about 7 am and 8 am, in Northern and Central NJ, Southeastern NY, and in NYC between about 8 am and 9 am, and in Fairfield County, CT and on the North Shore of Long Island, between about 9 am and 10 am, rain or snow developing along the South Shore of Long Island, between about 9 am and 10 am, the snow will change to rain in Central and Northeastern NJ, Southern Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY, NYC, on Long Island and in Southern Fairfield County, CT, and will become wet snow or rain in East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, in Orange, Putnam, and Northern Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY, and in Northern Fairfield County, CT, total possible snowfall accumulations: Coating possible:  Central and Northeastern NJ, Southern Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY, Southern Fairfield County, CT, Coating to an inch or two possible:  East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, Orange, Putnam, Northern Rockland and Northern Westchester Counties in NY, and Northern Fairfield County, CT, 1-4 inches possible:  Northeastern PA, lows in the mid 20’s to low 30’s inland and the mid 30’s along the coast, highs in the mid 30’s in Northeastern PA, the mid to upper 30’s in East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, and Orange and Putnam Counties in NY, the upper 30’s to low 40’s in Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY, and in Fairfield County, CT, the low to mid 40’s in Central and Northeastern NJ and NYC, and the mid to upper 40’s along the NJ Coast and on Long Island

FRIDAY – variably cloudy, chance of a Lake Effect snow squall, a coating of snow is possible in some locations, lows in the mid 20’s to low 30’s inland and the mid 30’s along the coast, highs in the 30’s, with some low 40’s possible in Central and Northeastern NJ, NYC, and on Long Island

NEW YEAR’S EVE – variably cloudy, chance of a rain or snow shower at night, lows in the upper teens to m id 20’s inland and the upper 20’s along the coast, highs in the 30’s, with some low 40’s possible along the coast and on Long Island

NEW YEAR’S DAY – mostly sunny, lows in the 30’s inland and the low 40’s along the coast and on Long Island, highs from the mid to upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the mid to upper 40’s in Central NJ
