Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 60’s to low 70’s.
Next Thursday through Monday will then be nice with highs in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s next Thursday, the upper 50’s and 60’s Friday, and the 60’s next Saturday through Monday.
Next Friday through Sunday major hurricane Irma will be approaching Florida. It is still too early to be certain of the exact track of Irma and whether she will make landfall on the East Coast of Florida or make it into the Gulf of Mexico. Unfortunately, Irma may be a category 5 storm at that time. It is also possible that Irma could turn north and head up the coast, but my best guess is currently that Irma will track westward to about Key West, Florida by Sunday morning, then make it into the Western Gulf of Mexico, then make landfall on Western Florida. However, anyone with interests along the Gulf Coast or the East Coast of the United States should keep a very close eye on Irma. Unfortunately, Irma does have the potential to be a rare category 5 storm as she approaches the United States.
