Hurricane Irma will devastate the Florida Peninsula…
Hurricane Irma is about to devastate the entire Florida
Peninsula with wind gusts of 70-150 mph. I expect Irma to pass across the
Florida Keys Sunday morning, making landfall near Marco Island on the Southwest
Coast of Florida Sunday afternoon, then tracking northward over or slightly
east of Fort Myers Sunday night, just east of Tampa early Monday morning, and
then to a point between Lake City and Jacksonville mid-day Monday. Anyone on
the Florida Peninsula should evacuate.
In our area it will be nice through Tuesday with
temperatures rising gradually from the 60’s to low 70’s today and tomorrow, to the
mid 60’s to mid 70’s Sunday, the 70’s Monday and the mid 70’s to low 80’s
Tuesday.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower
or thunderstorm as the remnants of Irma pass through our area. Highs will be in
the upper 60’s to upper 70’s.
Thursday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower
or thunderstorm as the remnants of Irma depart our area. Highs will be in the
70’s.
Next Friday through Tuesday will then be nice with highs in
the low to mid 70’s.
Next Wednesday we will have increasing cloudiness as Hurricane
Jose or the remnants of Hurricane Jose approach our area. Highs will be in the
upper 60’s to low 70’s.
Next Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower
or thunderstorm as Hurricane Jose or the remnants of Hurricane Jose pass
through near our area. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to low 70’s.
