Today will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as an onshore wind has developed in front of Hurricane Jose. Highs will be in the 70’s to low 80’s.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm as the onshore wind ahead of Jose continues. Highs will again be in the 70’s to low 80’s.
Tuesday Jose will approach our area, bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms developing, possibly becoming heavy at times and possibly becoming windy. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.
Wednesday Jose may be sitting 50-100 miles off the Coast of NJ, bringing a chance of heavy rain and strong winds to our area, especially in coastal locations and on Long Island where there could be some flooding. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.
Jose may then stall out, bringing us a chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday and Friday, and possibly even into Saturday. Highs will range from the mid 60’s on Eastern Long Island to the upper 70’s to low 80’s in East Central PA Thursday, to the 60’s to low 70’s Friday, and the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Saturday.
Next Sunday through Friday may remain variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day as Maria, or her remnants may approach our area, bringing an onshore wind and chances for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be from the mid 60’s to the 70’s.
