Today will be nice with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
Tomorrow clouds will increase late in the day as a strong cold front approaches from the west at the same time that a tropical disturbance approaches from the south. Highs will be in the 60’s.
Sunday the strong cold front and tropical disturbance will combine to form a strong Nor’easter along the Middle Atlantic Coast. This will bring us heavy rain and strong winds on Sunday. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph inland, 60 mph along the NJ Coast, and 60-80 mph on Eastern Long Island. This will likely cause some tree branches to break and some trees to fall, bringing the chance for some power outages. Some flooding will also be likely. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.
The rain will end Monday morning with total rainfall amounts of 2-5 inches possible. Highs will be in the 50’s.
Halloween will then be nice with highs in the 50’s.
Wednesday we will have increasing cloudiness with a chance of a shower in the afternoon or evening as a weak disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 50’s.
Thursday through next Sunday will then be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower each day. Highs will be in the 60’s.
Next Monday through Thursday then look nice with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Monday and Tuesday, and the 50’s next Wednesday and Thursday.
Have a fantastic day!
