Tomorrow clouds will increase in the afternoon and evening as a strong cold front approaches from the west and a tropical disturbance approaches from the south. Highs will be in the 60’s.
Sunday the approaching strong cold front and tropical disturbance will combine along the Middle Atlantic Coast bringing rain, heavy at times. It will also be very windy, with gusts of up to 60 mph possible inland and up to 80 mph possible along the coast and on Long Island. Flooding will also be possible. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.
Monday rain will end in the morning, followed by clearing. Total rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are possible on Long Island and in Fairfield County, CT, 1-3 inches along the NJ Coast, in NYC, Northeastern NJ, and in Westchester and Putnam Counties in NY, 1-4 inches in Central and Northwestern NJ, and Rockland and Orange Counties in NY, and 2-6 inches in East Central and Northeastern PA.
There is even a small chance that the rain could mix with or change to snow in parts of East Central and Northeastern PA prior to ending.
Things will then clear out Monday afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.
Tuesday will then be nice with highs in the upper 40’s and 50’s.
Wednesday through next Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower each day as a cold front slowly approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 50’s Wednesday, the mid 50’s to mid 60’s Thursday, and the 60’s next Friday.
Next Saturday then looks nice with highs in the 50’s.
Next Sunday and Monday will then be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.
Next Tuesday through Thursday then look nice with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Tuesday, the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Wednesday, and the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Thursday.
