Friday, October 6, 2017 - Evening Weather Discussion

Watching Tropical Storm Nate…

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with just a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Tropical Storm Nate will also be moving northward through the Gulf of Mexico tomorrow, possibly strengthening to hurricane force prior to making landfall Saturday night near New Orleans, Louisiana. Nate will then track northeastward, heading right towards us.

Sunday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Monday, we will then have a chance of showers or thunderstorms, possibly heavy at times, as the remnants of Nate pass through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s.

Tuesday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as the remnants of Nate depart our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Wednesday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.

Thursday through next Monday then look nice with highs in the 60’s Thursday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Friday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Saturday, and the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Sunday and Monday. 

Next Tuesday and Wednesday then look variably cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorm as a storm may form along the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the 60’s next Tuesday and the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Wednesday.

Next Thursday then looks nice with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.
