Friday, October 6, 2017 - Morning Weather Discussion

Watching Tropical Storm Nate…

It will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm today and tomorrow. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Tropical Storm Nate will be entering and then moving northward through the Gulf of Mexico tomorrow, making landfall near New Orleans, Louisiana late Saturday night or early Sunday morning. The remnants of Nate will then move northeastward, passing through our area Sunday through Tuesday.

Sunday and Monday there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorms, possibly heavy at times Monday, as the remnants of Nate pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s Sunday and the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Monday.

Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as the remnants of Nate depart our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.

Wednesday and Thursday will then be nice with highs in the mid to upper 60’s Wednesday and the 60’s Thursday.

Next Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 60’s to low 70’s.

Next Saturday through Monday then look nice with highs in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Saturday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Sunday, and the 60’s next Monday.

Next Tuesday and Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm, with a nice day sandwiched between next Wednesday. Highs will be in the upper 50’s and 60’s.
