Monday, December 11, 2017 - Evening Weather Discussion

A little snow from time to time…

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of rain and snow showers as a disturbance passes by to our north. There could be a coating of snow in parts of our area, especially in far Northwestern NJ and far Northwestern Orange County, NY, and as for Northeastern PA, there will be a chance for a coating to an inch in the lowest elevations and 1-3 inches in the highest elevations. Highs will range from the mid to upper 30’s in Northeastern PA to the upper 40’s to low 50’s on Eastern Long Island.

Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow flurry in the morning. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.

Thursday there will be a chance of some light snow or snow showers in the morning, followed by clearing as a disturbance passes to our south. Highs will be in the 20’s to low 30’s.

Friday clouds will increase with a chance of some light snow or snow showers in the afternoon as another disturbance passes to our south. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.

Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower as a weak disturbance passes to our north. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s.

Sunday clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow at night as a disturbance passes to our north. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Monday there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the morning, followed by clearing. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Tuesday through Thursday will then be nice with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Tuesday, the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Wednesday, and the 30’s next Thursday.

Next Friday there will be a chance of rain or snow showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Next Saturday and Christmas Eve then look nice with highs in the 30’s.
