Monday, December 11, 2017 - Morning Weather Discussion

Any more snow in our future?

There will be a chance of a flurry early this morning, then it will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 30’s.

Tomorrow there will be a chance of mixed precipitation in the morning and early afternoon, then clearing late in the day as a disturbance passes to our north.  A coating of accumulation is possible in East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, and Orange County, NY, and a coating to up to 3 inches will be possible in Northeastern PA.  Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s inland and the upper 40’s along the coast and on Eastern Long Island.

Wednesday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower in the morning. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.

Thursday will be variably cloudy in the morning with a chance of a snow shower in East Central PA and Central NJ as a disturbance passes to our south. Highs will be in the 20’s to low 30’s.

Friday clouds will increase with a chance of light snow in the afternoon and evening as another disturbance passes to our south. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to low 30’s.

Saturday will then be variably cloudy with highs in the 30’s.

Sunday then looks nice with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s inland and the upper 40’s along the coast and on Eastern Long Island.

Next Monday clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow showers in the afternoon or evening. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Next Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of rain or snow showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Wednesday then looks nice with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

Next Thursday clouds will increase with a chance of snow showers at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 30’s.

Next Friday there will be a chance of snow showers ending in the morning, then clearing. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.

Next Saturday there will be a chance of snow in the morning as a disturbance passes by off the coast. Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

Christmas Eve then looks nice with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
