Today and tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry or snow shower tomorrow morning. Highs will be in the 30’s today and the mid to upper 30’s tomorrow.
Tuesday, a disturbance will pass to our north, pushing a warm front through our area. Some snow may develop in the morning as the warm air starts to overrun the cold air in place.
Possible snowfall accumulations:
Coating to an inch - Central and Northeastern NJ, NYC, Southeastern Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY State, on Long Island and in Southern Fairfield County, CT
1-3 inches - East Central and Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, Orange, Northwestern Rockland, and Putnam Counties in NY, and in Northern Fairfield County, CT,
Wednesday will then be variably cloudy and cold with a chance of a snow shower. Highs will be in the 20’s with some low 30’s along the coast.
Thursday will be variably cloudy with lows in the upper single digits and teens inland and the low 20’s along the coast, highs in the 20’s, with some low 30’s in Central NJ.
Friday will be variably cloudy with a chance of light snow or flurries in the afternoon as a disturbance passes to our south. Lows will be in the mid to upper single digits and teens inland and the low 20’s along the coast, with highs in the 20’s to low 30’s.
Saturday and next Sunday then look nice with highs in the 30’s Saturday and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Sunday.
Next Monday clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Tuesday there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the morning, then clearing. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Next Wednesday and Thursday will then be nice with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Wednesday and the 30’s next Thursday.
Next Friday there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30’s.
Next Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.
