Thursday, July 19, 2018 - Evening Weather Discussion

One more spectacular day, and then, well…

Tomorrow will be spectacularly nice once again with highs in the upper 70’s along the coast and the 80’s inland.

Saturday clouds will increase with a chance of showers at night, especially along the coast, on Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT, as a strong disturbance develops along the Southeastern United States Coast and rides northward. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Sunday through next Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms each day as moist air flows into our area between two strong high pressure areas, one located off the Southeastern United States and one in the Mid-Western States, and then a cold front will pass through next Friday. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Sunday, the 70’s Monday, the 70’s to low 80’s Tuesday, the 70’s Wednesday, and the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Thursday and Friday.

Next Saturday through Wednesday are then looking nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Have a wonderful evening!
